Karaka Learning Centre was established in 1986 incorporating a kindergarten approach to education and care for preschool children. From conception the Centre has reflected the partnership with parents, whanau and the community and has been providing a stimulating environment where young children are given a head start to a life of achievement.
An environment which builds trust and fosters self confidence and where learning opportunities are created through fun, laughter and play.
Karaka Learning Centre provides quality care and education to all children ranging from 4 months to 6 years.
Infants - 4 to 24 months
Staff to Child ratio of 1 teacher to 4 children
Toddlers - 2 to 3 years
Staff to Child ratio of 1 teacher to 7 children
Preschoolers - 4 to 6 years
Staff to Child ratio of 1 teacher to 8 children
Karaka Learning Centre, is a pre-school with a difference, is set within a large open rural property, offering extensive outdoor play areas and a large heated indoor pool.
Karaka Learning Centre is a place where children get to learn, laugh and play.
